The factory steering wheel remote control units is instaled only for the vehicle with Honda HDD navigation
system or Honda factory audio system.
There are no waire harness for the steering wheel remote control unit in the vehicle, if you buy a car
without HDD navigation or factory audio system.
this steering wheel remote control interface allows to control the aftermarket AV units.
If the aftermarket AV units including the capability to control the iPods ,
it allows to track down or up for iPod.
It is easy installation due to the individual interface kit for the each vehicle. Note:The Av units shoule be controled by the IR remote control unit.
Need the IR rimote control unit in order to program the steering wheel control interface. The programmed interface kit will be shipped used for the AV unit shown below :
( Pioneer , ALPINE , KENWOOD , Clarion and Sanyo ) Note : It is not available for the AV unit of the SONY and JVC due to different IR transmitter frequency. Note : It is not available for the dealer optional "Gathers" AV unit due to no capability for remote control. please refer to te Compatible List for the current "Gathers" navigation system. Note : There are no capability to control any of the navigation function.
